To threaten to kill a tiny-toddler of all people—really? It also makes you wonder at what level of communication that thing vibrates at to know how to push the thought of death towards a baby where it completely knows to comply to his commands! I wish I could banish the thought. But the horror continues:

Dear Heidi,

When I was a little kid, I had these reoccurring night terrors.

They would start where I’m in a dark alley and The Hat Man is running behind me, chasing me. He was a physical figure, but black with no discernible face. As he would get closer I would get more afraid where it felt like I was running through water until I couldn’t move at all anymore. But somehow, I would always wake up right before he got to me.

In fact, I would often wake up to my dad holding me because I had been screaming bloody murder the whole time I was dreaming about this. I was also fully terrorized by these huge Shadow Spiders that would cover every surface of the hallway outside of my parent’s bedroom. These things seemed to show up to prevent me from reaching my parents whenever I had these night terrors. This scenario of the nightmares and spiders happened over and over again for a few years.

When I was a toddler my parents even told me that what they thought was a “ghost,” was constantly pushing me down the stairs! They said I would lurch forward as if someone shoved me, but no one could be seen actually doing this to me.

We moved before I got killed...
